What is a monumental vault grave?

While appearing as a traditional monumental grave above the surface, vault graves are in fact built on a sealed, concrete-lined, underground vault. This type of grave provides the full monumental headstone and slab as well as the added reassurance that the casket is protected from the elements.

What should I know about monumental vault graves?

• Vault graves can accommodate up to three burials.
